Matthew 24:35

“ Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words will never pass away. “

Invest in your relationship with God

We all have a tendency to put ourselves and others first, but in doing so, we can sometimes neglect our relationship with our Father God. Let us be mindful and build a connection with the Lord that goes beyond our expectations and place him above all things.

In the beginning..

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

We were all created by the Lord and it only makes sense that we serve the Lord. We always think serving the Lord is not what we want. And the number one lie from the beginning is God doesn't want what's best for you. As Satan said in Genesis 3:4-5 "You will not surely die" ... "...your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil". This lie is the first step into sin questioning God's goodness is the surest path to destruction and nothing good. You see God had only good for us, but the questioning of that and listening to someone else lead us to sin. God is perfect and good. He will never break his character like humans do. So God will never lie, he will never break his word, he will never do evil. Which by definition good is something beneficial and evil by contrast is something not beneficial but it is also something disobedient to God. For him being the author of all things is the judge of Good and Evil so disobedience to the judge would be evil. Please don't let Satan trick you into thinking God doesn't exist, or God doesn't only do good, or God is a liar. We must realize the liar is Satan and of course a liar will point the finger and try to say these things of God. He says them though because they come from his own character he is doing as we all know so many humans do, he is projecting himself onto God. No one is like God so no one is allowed to project onto God. False Gods run into this exact problem, humans project ourselves onto God or Gods. Let Satan reap his own evil upon his own head, but let's not follow him like the deniers of God. Denying God's glory, his goodness, his world, and his love. Let's celebrate the God of salvation that pays the price of our sin so we can be with him again.

“ This path I have chosen to learn about and love the Lord is the greatest decision of my life..”

Are you Rapture ready?

Tribulation is near, but will you be here to see it unfold? Or will you be raptured with the church?  What is the church and are you part of it? Will you be enduring the 7 year tribulation of God's wrath? Is there any hope of escaping? What will happen in those 7 years?

Primarily we must understand the distinction between the two terms, rapture and tribulation. These two events are separate yet both are part of revelation. We have all heard of the end times in one way or another, whether in  movies or scripture it points out an end to an age. For every beginning there must be an end and our Lord God set several prophetic signs that would lead to the very end. Tribulation itself is a seven year period of God's wrath. This will include famine, wars, lawlessness, total control of currency and ways of life, the antichrist, boils, mark of the beast, war in heaven and so much much more. These wraths will be poured out over the course of 7 years through seal judgments, trumpet blasts, and finally the full pouring of God's wrath with the 7 bowls. Safe to say that this will not be a time to celebrate or enjoy life itself. Is there hope for escape or are we all doomed to endure this time of tribulation? Thankfully the Lord Almighty in all his grace and mercy has set a beautiful gift for us to look forward to. This gift is known as the rapture. The rapture is an event that takes place BEFORE the seven year tribulation. The exact timing before is unknown, the Lord mentions that no one will know the day or the hour, however, he has blessed us with a knowing of the season. Rapture itself is an incredible gift of love and mercy that the Lord had set to give us hope and peace in these final days. The rapture of the church is an event when Jesus Christ calls up his church to meet him in the clouds with him where he has prepared a home for us. We, as the church of Jesus Christ, are awaiting our Lord to call us for the wedding of the Lamb. During these 7 years of tribulation we will be celebrating in heaven with our Lord God for the obedience and faith we had in him before the great time of tribulation. We believed in him without having to see him or having to be forced.

We openly and willfully chose him and loved him as we waited for him. If you believe in Jesus and have accepted him into your life as Lord and savior then good news, YOU ARE CHOSEN for rapture. You will have the beautiful honor of escaping the coming tribulation. There are many scriptures that indicate a rapture of the church and the season of which it is to happen. Approximately 30% of the bible is speaking of end time prophecy, therefore, you will find a number of scriptures that bring a sense of hope and peace to a time that is in the near future. The Lord mentions in Matthew 24:37-39 , "But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. " This is important to note because it gives us a clear depiction of the peace we should have while awaiting the moment of rapture. Noah did not have to ENDURE the rapture, he was able to get onto the ark safely and ESCAPE the flood. Also, considering the times of Lot , he was also given the gift of escaping Sodom before it was destroyed with the Lord's judgement. Scripture informs us in 1 Thessalonians 5:9 , " For God did not appoint us to suffer wrath but to receive salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." We can feel peace in these last days knowing that our Lord God is merciful and loving to his believers. I pray that this message has helped bring some joy in these dark days. Lift your head and heart to the heavens and know that Jesus Christ is ready to bring us home soon.
