Give the devil no ground

You see the devil is a deceiver. He will not wait to deceive or give you time. The moment the devil is given a door he will bring lies with him. This is the problem with allowing him anything anywhere. Some would argue we are not to force Christianity upon others. I’ve never really seen this addressed in the Bible but I’d say this, your convictions, votes, and choices should always be on the side of God. If God says children should live then your vote is children should live. Because we follow God and not man’s desires. The world wants freedom to sin, and we can’t fully stop them, but we certainly should never support them or give the devil any ground.

You see giving the devil ground is something exterior and interior. He wants to deceive in the world, and deceive in your mind. And where ever his deceit is allowed to exist it will take root. It will grow and begin to produce bad fruit. This is why we cannot give Satan any ground in our lives or others lives. This is why as Christians we should be careful what we allow in our ears and eyes for these lead directly to our heart. If you listen to music that glorifies evil, murder, adultery, drugs, and makes these things sound desirable. You may not think these things effect you, but you might simply have darker thoughts darker ideas. If you let those darker things take root and grow then you will have bad fruit also known as evil, sin, wickedness, all coming out of your life. When you let Satan preach to you his evil, than how are you to keep it out of your mind or life?

Give the devil no ground. Do not let his temptations be in your life at all. Halloween ooo candy, ooo costumes, ooo decorations. Where is the ooo God is so holy, ooo God is my savior, ooo let’s celebrate the Lord. Our focus should never be on sinful things, and should never be more on worldly things than Godly. We are citizens of heaven and that is where our allegiance belongs. So set your mind on that which is excellent, good, worthy, and righteous. And let not the Devil even whisper in your ear his perverse thoughts and desires. May the Lord bless you and keep you holy. May he love you forever more and save you from the day of trial.
